P7 Ford Castle - Final Information

The residential trip has arrived and we are looking forward to the pupils heading to Ford Castle tomorrow and hope everyone is as excited as we are.

Can we remind you to provide a packed lunch for your child, to be eaten on arrival at Ford Castle. Please make sure that no other snacks or drinks should be given to your child as we do have several children with allergies.

In addition, all medication must be held by the school staff and appropriate paperwork completed - pupils must not have any undeclared medication.

All staff will be in regular communication with the school and will have mobile phones therefore no pupil is to take their own. Mobile phones found will be held by staff until they return to the school. If you need to contact your child, please contact the school office during school time and a message will be passed on, out with school hours can you please email Mr Dickson on gw13dicksonfraser@glow.sch.uk and he will get back to you when available. 

Please make sure that your child arrives at school tomorrow for 9a.m, and they arrive with their luggage, pillow and sleeping bag/duvet.

Missing Jacket

Dear Parent/Carer

A child aged 5-6 has lost a black Nike jacket. Can parents please check their child has come home with the correct jacket?

A polite reminder, can all parents ensure children's items have names on them. This way we can ensure items are returned if lost.

Parent Council AGM

Parent Council AGM
ROMPS Parent Council will be holding their AGM on Thursday 23rd May 2024 at 7pm in the school staff room. A copy of the agenda is attached. All are welcome.
The Parent Council are proposing to make a couple of changes to their constitution at the upcoming AGM. Attached are copies of the current constitution and the proposed updates. These changes relate only to sections 8 and 9. If you have any objections to these changes, or wish to discuss them further, please contact the Parent Council at ROMPSPC@gmail.com by Friday 17th May.

Ford Castle Paperwork and Medication for P7

Please check your child's bag tonight for Ford Castle paperwork this needs to be completed and returned asap. If your child also takes medication regular please ensure that we have a supple of this for the trip in the original box with their name on it.

In the paper work will be a Part One - parental request form for Paracetmol, Ibuprofen and antihistamines. This is just encase your child requires this but please be assured that if they do you will receive a call phone letting you know before that are given it.

Miss Ferguson is organising the P7 yearbook and is looking for a baby/younger photo of your child. This can be digitally sent in or a physical copy which we will scan and return to you the same day.

Room 2 French café

Room 2 are going to be having a French café this week and will be trying different French foods. They will be trying brioche, croissants, apple juice and orange juice. 

If you don't want your child to take part or if your child has any allergies please get in touch with the school office to let us know.
